Content Writer (Freelance)

You’ll be writing industry-leading long-form content that’s informed by our data, expertise, and research – and perfectly tailored to our ecommerce marketing audience. You’ll make a meaningful and measurable contribution to educating ecommerce brands everywhere.
The Content Writer (Freelance) role is responsible for working with the marketing team to deliver detailed relevant ecommerce and conversion insights that will both inform visitors and attract new leads.
This entails using writing skills to compose clear, specific, engaging content with the goal of informing ecommerce leaders on how conversion rate optimization can help maximize their effectiveness.
This role should be passionate and familiar with the following areas as they relate to ecommerce:
- Data and analytics
- A/B testing
- User testing
- Heat mapping
- Conversion Rate Optimization
Think of content along the lines of NNGroup, Baymard, Optimizely, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, and other related content.
This position reports to Director of Marketing.

- Able to write technical yet highly readable articles on a regular basis
- Journalist or similar writing background preferred but not required
